Nach den Split-Produktionen mit HORRÖR und LEADERSHIP gibt es mit „Asko Infinito" den ersten Longplayer dieses Crustrock/Garagepunk-Trios aus Valencia. DERROTA machen ihr ganz eigenes Ding, würde man sie musikalisch vielleicht in Richtung Garagepunk einordnen, sind sie textlich viel zu sehr an Crust oder Hardcore orientiert.

Das fette Booklet mit den etwas verunglückten deutschen Übersetzungen lässt erahnen, was die Lyrics aussagen möchten, und das ist weit weg von belanglosem Garagepunk-Blabla, ohne den Herrschaften zu nahe treten zu wollen.

Das LARSEN-Cover passt nicht ganz ins Konzept - gelungen, nur von der Atmosphäre her doch ganz anders als das eigene Material. Sehr eigenständige Band mit Wiedererkennungswert, was nicht so selbstverständlich in diesem Genre ist.
