"MAKILADORAS put together two powerful new tracks that are based on the blend of straight-forward hardcore punk and a strong 80's metal influence. With this style of music and strong female vocals, their previous 10" releases earned them comparisions to the early days of UK's Sacrilige. However, the songs on this recording are far more delicately structured, offering a lot more variety in style, and the vocalist has adapted a singing style more sutiable for her voice: angry and sharp. RADIO BIKINI are an interesting and complimentary band to share this EP. Musically they are incredibly tight and fast, playing a non-stop brand of break-neck thrash in the form of four short and explosive blasts (as opposed to MAKILIADORAS' two). Both bands have incredibly political lyrics and the booklet includes lyrics and explanation, with English translations from their native Dutch. Although slightly oversized (which presents a minor storage issue), the packaging is well assembled and even includes a cover drawing by Marald that goes back to the "Let's Start a Riot" days, with its fairly direct anti-state theme."
