"Horrör hails from Barcelona, Spain. They are one of the new flood of bands from that country that deliver hardcore raw and good.
This lp is the first full length they did so far, after a number of 7”records.
Their style can be described as d-beat, I prefer to call it raw punk, because that is what it is. Straightforward, pure and not complicated. As a lot of bands in Spain, these guys do not care about image or gimmicks. Their music comes straight from the heart and is diy as fuck, the way it should be. 10 tracks on this 45rpm 12” blast through the speakers in 17 minutes time and each of them is great.
Lyrics are all in spanish, but in the good tradition there are translations included.
I find it hard to compare this band to another band, best is to check yourself on their myspace site. This one is not to be missed."

"Auch wenn es im Stadtbild vielleicht nicht direkt auffällt, Barcelona scheint so etwas wie eine Hochburg des Crust und D-Beat zu sein, eine Szene mit einem Faible für Umlaute. HORRÖR, das sind vier sympathische Jungs, die völlig harmlos aussehen, einfach „Freunde, die gerne zusammen Musik machen und in den Texten verarbeiten, was einem so durch den Kopf geht ..." Gegründet 2004, war die Band jedes Jahr ein paar Wochen auf Tour und hat so halb Europa gesehen, in kurzen Abständen erschienen die Debütsingle und zwei Split-7"s.
Und jetzt die erste 12", „Descontroladas", also unkontrolliert, so wie auch der D-Beat dieser jungen Band, beeindruckend kompromissloser Lärm. Wobei eigentlich jeder der neun Tracks sich fast genauso anhört wie der andere, sozusagen die HORRÖR-Variationen, trotzdem ist die Platte einfach eine Wucht.
Dass das nichts taugt für den Massengeschmack, versteht sich, bei mir haben sie ins Schwarze getroffen: heftiger Sound, der mir Energie gibt, das Gefühl, nicht allein zu sein auf der Welt, D.I.Y. or die, es gibt auch andere, die so denken - ach, zur Hölle, hört euch die Platte an, bucht die Band ... Nein, vielleicht doch lieber nicht, denn es kann jederzeit wieder passieren: Sie nennen sich SIBIRIÄ, tauschen untereinander ihre Instrumente und spielen ein Art „destructive feeling trash punk d-beat", das heißt, jetzt machen sie richtig Krach. Hammergeil."
